Bio – Grace Yungwirth
Grace Yungwirth (P.Eng, C.Eng) is a leading technical advisor to mining companies and finance institutions with a deep understanding of the commodity extraction industry and experience bridging the gap between technical, corporate, and investment segments of the mining industry. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, she is currently in the role of Technical Director of Mining, Mine Water, and Hydrogeology in WSP Mining’s Global Mining Business where she advises on technical risk management, new project development/growth, operational efficiency, and project life cycle strategies (early development through mine closure). Grace has extensive industry experience in metals & mining with complimentary experience in construction & infrastructure. She has authored numerous mine water focused technical publications and is a leader in DE&I and innovation initiatives. Grace is WSP’s regional ESG in Mining Leader supporting advancements in ESG strategy and innovation across the business.
