Estelle Levin-Nally – 2025 – A Pathway for Improving Cooperation towards more Sustainable Minerals Value Chains

Bio

Estelle Levin-Nally (M.A., M.A., C.Dir, C.Dip) has been working in minerals sustainability for 20 years, beginning her career in shipbroking, gorilla conservation & international development. Today she builds post-extractivist, regenerative & equitable minerals value chains through paid and voluntary roles. 

Estelle is CEO & Founder of B CorpTM advisory firm, Levin Sources, which, has helped 160+ clients mine, trade, source, invest in & regulate minerals more responsibly & sustainably through 300+ projects on 160+ minerals in 90+ countries since 2010. She helps public, private and third sector clients across multiple sectors all along minerals value chains: mining, metallurgy, recycling, jewellery, electronics, automotive, renewables, finance. She is a natural problem solver, matchmaker, horizon-scanner and opportunity creator. 

Estelle is a member of the G7 Gender Equality Advisory Council, a Commissioner for the Global Investor Commission for Mining 2030 and co-Chair of their Working Group on Ensuring Inclusion of Local Voices & Equitable Distribution of Benefits; Member of the Women in Mining UK’s Policy Committee; Mentor for the International Women in Mining’s International Women in Natural Resources Mentoring Programme; and Chair of the Investing in African Mining Indaba’s Sustainability Committee. Estelle was recognised as a 100 Global Inspirational Woman in Mining (2020) and an African Mining Review’s “Mining Elite in Africa” in 2024.
