Aileen Doran
Aileen Doran is a Sustainability, Risk, and Raw Materials Consultant with a background in geoscience. She has experience across research and industry, including work on Irish-type Zn-Pb and Zambian Cu-Co deposits, and has developed a focus on the role of raw materials in society, particularly in the context of the energy transition.
She is part of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion in Geoscience (EDIG), a global volunteer-led initiative working to improve representation, access, and participation across geoscience and the raw materials sector. Through this work, she explores how perspectives influence knowledge, decision-making, and outcomes, and how greater inclusion can support more effective and responsible approaches to resource development.
