BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Elyvin Nkhonjera is a Malawian woman who holds a Master’s in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelors in Natural Resources Management and has worked in the development sector for over 15 years. She previously worked for ActionAid, Oxfam and Hivos focussing on human rights and extractives. Elyvin has served as a secretary of Nyasa mining Cooperative and has also worked closely with Malawi women in Mining. She is currently working as a Project Manager for Precious Metals and Minerals at Export Development Fund which is currently providing a stable, reliable and responsible market for Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners including women that are mining gold and gemstones.
