Pat Bradshaw – Risk Manager – optimise

Pat is a Risk Manager at optimise, specialising in Project Risk Management and Quantitative Risk Analysis across major infrastructure programmes. With experience spanning sectors including roads, rail, electrical infrastructure and nuclear, he has developed a strong track record in supporting complex projects to better understand and manage risk and uncertainty.

Pat is known for his practical and collaborative approach to risk, focusing on embedding effective risk management processes that support informed decision making rather than simply maintaining compliance. Alongside his client work, he has contributed to the development of risk methodologies and modelling approaches, helping to drive consistency and best practice across programmes.

In addition to his professional role, Patrick is actively involved in the wider risk community. He is the creator and host of Seasons 1 and 3 of the riskologists podcast, a platform aimed at sharing knowledge and insights within the project controls and risk management profession.

Passionate about developing others within the discipline, he is also engaged in initiatives that support early career professionals and promote greater awareness of the value that effective risk management can bring to projects and organisations.
