Biography
Tom Butler was CEO of the International Council on Mining and Metals from 2015 until April 2021. ICMM brings together 28 leading companies to collaborate at CEO level on improving their environmental and social performance. Prior to that, Tom spent 18 years financing infrastructure, power, and mining projects in some of the most challenging emerging market countries around the world, while working for the International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group), where his last role was global head of mining.
