Darren will discuss some of the topical and longer-term risks associated with sustainable infrastructure, along its entire lifecycle. Darren will also review some factors to consider when both preventing some of these risks and responding to incidents when they occur.

Biography
Darren has over 25 years of experience across several sectors, including pharmaceutical, defence, aerospace, rail, IT and telecommunications, nuclear construction and maritime. Almost 20 years of his career has focused on risk management, project controls and wider project management. Most of Darren’s career has been in the UK, with the last two years in the Saudi Arabia. Darren is a certified fellow of a number of professional institutes,and is currently studying an MSc in Infrastructure Engineering &Management at the University of Surrey.
